Gwilym Bowen Rhys is a folk singer from Snowdonia, north Wales.

For the last decade he has been honing his skills as a performer with many groups (Plu) and international musical projects.

He draws from old Welsh music and poetry and mixes them with his own compositions, creating music that is both thrilling and sonorous, that pushes boundaries yet is deeply rooted in his native Welsh soil.
