Chip Taylor

Since it was used in the UK Netflix series Sex Education, Chip Taylor’s 2012 song F*ck All The Perfect People has had over 2 million Spotify and Youtube streams. His latest in a remarkable string of recent albums Whiskey Salesman, also shows that the 2016 Songwriters Hall of Fame 2016 inductee shows no sign of slowing down after writing and performing for nearly 60 years.

The New York Times says it best, “If you only know him as the guy who wrote ‘Wild Thing’ and ‘Angel of the Morning” — you don’t know him! Chip Taylor is making some of the most distinctive acoustic music around today.”

Tonight,  he returns to Galeri with his regular accompanist, John Platania who in the 70's was a member of Van Morrison's Caledonian Soul Orchestra.
